About Chris Reed

Chris Reed Design is a Philadelphia-based studio dedicated to architectural and interior design solutions for discerning clients.

 

Chris received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Syracuse University. After a year living abroad in Florence, Italy, he returned to his hometown of Philadelphia where he gained broad-based experience at national design firms including Hillier, Daroff Design, and KlingStubbins, specializing in workplace, hotel, restaurant, historic preservation, retail, and residential projects.
 

After over two decades of big firm work experience, Chris started his own practice in order to personally guide small project clients through the often complex design and construction process with a steadfast commitment to open dialogue, consistent communication, and technical expertise.
 

Chris brings an evaluative energy to every design challenge with both a passion for and sensitivity to different design styles from traditional to contemporary. As an architect, Chris has been fortunate to have collaborated with residential and commercial clients, craftsmen, and consultants across the United States and beyond. His depth of experience encompasses architectural and interior design, art and furniture procurement, lighting design, engineering coordination, custom millwork, construction administration, cost analysis, and code compliance.
